Michael Skuhersky's work at MIT focuses on recording and simulating the complete neural circuitry of organisms, primarily C. elegans, with the goal of simulating the brains of humans.
Previously, he founded a soft-robotics prosthetics startup. His interdisciplinary expertise spans protein docking dynamics, rapid fabrication techniques, spatial computing architectures, and neutrino-electron scattering modeling.
In his spare time, he enjoys working on his off-grid mountaintop farm, adventuring, and making electronic music. His vision for the future involves transcending biological limitations to merge human intellect with artificial systems.
